Fruity Cookies are a delicious and easy drop cookie filled with flavor and all things Christmas. These are great for dipping in coffee. I know, “Fruity Cookies” sounds a bit funny. I am really not sure where the name came from, possibly my Mama, but I just love saying it. These have been a tradition in my family at Christmas time since, well since I can remember.

This next recipe is not a cookie but a candy. I decided to include it as it has been a mainstay in our Christmas recipes since I was a little girl. This Stained Glass Candy is so simple and beautiful.

What a great line-up. But our go-to holiday cookie is from my grandmother’s Indiana farm: a creamy chocolate chip cookie with oatmeal and walnuts (preferably black walnuts). Great with coffee or milk. Recipe and photos available. Our best year we made 147 dozen.
