I had come across this hack many times over the past few years but was always skeptical as to whether it would actually work or not.
A few weeks ago my grandson and one of our dogs got into some mud out in the yard, a LOT of mud. It was time for a bath for them both. (No, not together. That would be silly.)
After my grandson showered and I got the dog bathed, my bathtub was a disaster. I had also managed to tweak my back while fighting to keep the dog in the bathtub.

I knew there was no way I was going to be able to clean the tub with the way my back was feeling but there was also no way I could leave it. ( I think that would have sent my anxiety into high gear knowing the bathtub was in the other room and so dirty.)
Remembering the bathtub cleaning hack that I had seen so many times, I thought “what the heck”. At least it would hopefully be a bit cleaner and it wouldn’t stress me out, seeing as I had given it a shot at getting it clean.
Well I am here to tell y’all, I was amazed! It was so easy and so clean.

The only things you need for the greatest bathtub cleaning hack are…
- Dawn Dish Soap
- A Clean Broom
Take the Dawn dish soap and squirt some out of the bottle all around the bathtub.
Using the broom, scrub the bottom and sides of the tub until clean. How long you need to do this will depend on how dirty your tub is. It took me about 5 minutes.

Rinse with clean water until all of the soap and dirty water is off of the bathtub.
That’s it!!

No bending, no sore knees or sore back!
Oh, and before I forget, Dawn Dish Soap is amazing! It can be used for SO many different things. Check out this post for more useful tips …
