Mama's Macaroni Salad

Servings 8 people


  • 1 lb Small Macaroni Shells cooked according to package directions
  • 4 Hard Boiled Eggs be sure to check out our post on Perfectly Cooked Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 2 cans Albacore Tuna
  • 3 ribs Celery chopped fine
  • 1/2 medium Onion minced
  • 1/2 Tall Jar Green Olives sliced
  • 1/3 Small Bag Frozen Peas
  • 2 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 2 Cups Mayonnaise (I used Dukes of course), approximately
  • 2 tsp Dill Weed or to taste
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


  • In a large bowl combine eggs, tuna, celery, online, olives, peas, dill weed, salt and pepper.
  • Drizzle mustard over top of combined ingredients
  • Add cooked, drained macaroni and stir until combined.
  • Add mayonnaise a bit at a time to combine. Keep adding until it is how you like it.
  • Refrigerate
  • When you take it out of the fridge you may need to add some more mayonnaise as the pasta tends to soak it up as it cools.
  • I generally will cook an additional egg to slice on the top to decorate.
